For all intents and purposes though, we're engaged.
He's super chill about it, has waifus, and we both gush about 'em together. We've talked about cosplaying eachother's crushes and doing stuff, but, haven't actually done it before.
I'm bi enough to enjoy some of his waifus, too, but he's just a good sport about my husbandos. I think.
I think it's pretty healthy, since there's gonna be aspects of an ideal relationship that, y'know, as real people we can't 100% match or find perfect harmonies between, that having waifus or husbandos helps fulfill, and as far as we've talked he agrees. I think talking about them together has helped us be better to eachother, too, since it helps us talk about things we want in ways that are easier than like, y'know, asking for them from eachother directly, especially if it's not something that comes naturally to you, but knowing it's something they want means you can fill that role sometimes.
But I think it does only work that way because we talk about it, and are both pretty super not-jealous people.
