I just want a regular grassy route or seaside area to show off the wildlife really. We've got enough plot heavy epic battle arenas

there are way too many "grassy first level" stages in Smash.
it's way more fun when there's a stage from a level that better showcases the source game's identity and uniqueneas.

I'd think Mt. Battle or the Train in the desert where you start the game with is better. But I am fine with that since I want Wes to be in Smash as a 'Double Battle rep' with Umbreon and Espeon.

But honestly, a remake of Pokefloats would be amazing

Sky Pillar with Rayquaza appearing as a stage hazard and a flying types from hoenn flying in the background.
This should also be the place for the Rayquaza boss fight on the singleplayer, who now Mega evolves when he reaches half health

That's true about there being a lot of grassy first levels, But 80% of your journey in Pokémon is through nature and scenic landscape trying to catch your favourite. It makes sense as representation, seeing wild Pokémon in their habitat.

Keep in mind it doesn't have to be just a grassy route, it could be any route..we could fight on a pier next to olivine lighthouse with fish jumping out the water and wingull overhead, or the crag next to a mountain or even in a cave

Mystery Dungeons (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series)

It's layout will be randomly generated, as does it's background, which are inspired by multiples dungeons from the games. Traps can also appear as hazards (Tripping, Self-Destruct, Poison, Warp, Pitfall, but others may be possible)

If Smash Ultimate actually bothered giving new stages to anything not Mario and Zelda, Incineroar would have gotten something. I would have chosen Altar of the Sunne/Moone or just Vast Poni Canyon.

When you think of floats you think of the big helium balloons right? There's no real saving the stage because of how rediculous the movements of the "balloons" get half way through the cycle. It genuinely looks very slapdash.. just watch anything after wobuffet showing up and you'll know what I mean

motostoke! it could be a stage that has 2 buildings at the side, a floor underneath, and a rotating platform in the middle on a stick to simulate it's elevator system. I think it'd make for a cool stage

How about a Stage based on the battle Environments from the main games? As in the idea of battle Environments themselves, these places where Pokémon Battles happen.

I'd specifically go with the ones from gen 6. It'd randomly select from a few of them. All the variants have the same collision, a flat stage with that goes off the left and right sides the camera allowed area. At the start each Fighter is even their own platform on the stage, like how each Pokémon is given their own platform in the main games. Various Pokémon will show up as Stage Hazards to use Moves that set up Entry Hazards, cause Weather, cause Terrain, that are Trapping Moves and Binding Moves. Also Defog too.

This is another nice one for a Stage. Also abstract which I like. That would be the first Stage based of a Pokémon spin-off. I'd like to know the gameplay of your idea.
