>>57381063They took a gap year specifically to line up Gen 10 with 2026, you simpering fuckwit. That they announced L: Z-A last year for a generic "2025" release points to it being the only release this year (never mind teraleak proved there's only L: Z-A and Gen 10 in production at the minute), in the same vein they announced SS in production, by proxy at LGPE's reveal when Masuda said they were working on the next era of pokémon games to appear on Switch in 2019.
You're the autistic fucking patterfag retard who thinks they'll ABANDON what they've done for the last 20-odd years and deliberately ignore their series anniversary to release a new Gen this year because "they release new Gens every three years". Ignoring they didn't release one in 2005 or 2015, both of which were three years after the last Game Freak game release and which SHOULD have seen a game., per your pattern? They skip a year now, because needing to delay DP caused the anniversary year revenue to spike, with DP launching later in 2006. Meaning they were comfortable cancelling the Kalos rehash to focus on 2016 and SM, because it was the 20th anniversary (and even made point to reference that in in-game events). And the fact they skipped 2024 entirely shows they learned to not just leave the end of the Gen bare and empty, like in 2015, take the bare year before the end of Gen release, to ensure people stay engaged with the franchise as they'll expect news before it's actually going to be handed out (cf this place in like september/october as they chimped out over getting no news for a game they expected to launch 1/1/25 despite no indication whatsoever of a Q1 release).
