all other approaches are about carefully planning out your team, their natures, EVs, moves, whatever the fug else. Then when you play the game nothing is a challenge or a surprise, because you've already accounted for everything that could possibly happen.
Running head first into every encounter, coming up against a brick wall, and then either charging into it repeatedly until it breaks, coming up with a stupid strategy that could only possible work in this one specific context if you get lucky, or catching a pokemon to only use once to get passed is the ultimate way to enjoy this shid
