2. It's just the cute/pink type. The only mythological references in the type are some contrived ones, like Klefki, that could've been Ghost type anyways.
3. Fairy is the strongest type in the game. We've been living in a Fairyfag meta for 4 gens when Dragon and Fighting got gutted after 2 gens.
4. Dragon could've been fixed by buffing Ice. Now buffing Ice would overkill Dragon so now both of them get to be bad forever.
5. Bug got nerfed unnecessarily.
6. The type's strengths/weaknesses are contrived and make no sense.
I will never come to terms with the type. I refuse to buy Pokemon games with Fairy type in it to this day out of principle. I've just been replaying Gens 1 - 5 and Pokemon Showdown for the past 12 years.
