What's there to say? It's a lump of disappointment because we currently don't have a method to evolve it into Melmetal, and it also requires you to buy LGPE in order to register its Pokedex to HOME.

What's to talk about? Shiny Meltan isn't a new thing, you could already get it from Go. And on top of that, you can only get shiny Melmetal from Go too, because you can't evolve Meltan in any other game.

Shiny Meltan for LGPE completion could've been shiny Mew. It should've.

and difficult to obtain
however the cherishball version will never be worth one shiny-hunted for during the FOMO times events within POGO itself

i still think its neat that they are even attempting to give players anything honestly

My fav insult as well is if you put 1 pokemon from go into let's go you can open the meltan box for 30 minutes, Unsure if any of them can be shiny but you can get meltan or 372489237409 if you wanted easy.

They offered a shiny meltan for completing a dex. You can install GO, Sync it to Let's Go Pikachu, Send one pokemon to the safari zone area, Unlock the Mystery Box in Pokemon GO and then spawn Meltan for 60 minutes if done in June it can be shiny. So why complete a dex for one shiny you can get several more easily with a slight time gate if you want shinies.
