movepool is the same as sword and shield for compatibility reasons
that mean some moves are absent
blaziken don't have it's signature sky uppercut for example
the remake is ok, but if i had to chose i'd take platinum

Lol. The "improved undeground" has the exact same encounters as Diamond and Pearl, meaning it actually has less variety than Platinum's expanded wild encounters. You need to get the National Pokedex (i.e., beat the game) for any variety in the Grand Underground.
