The webm filename says "gen 4 in gen 5". I have no context beyond this. I'm right to assume the battles will use gen 5's style because I have not been presented evidence that proves the contrary.

No, but because it's in gen 5's style (camera angles, sprites) I'm led to believe that battles will be the same, thus, battle sprites will be ugly tweening abominations being distorted further by a drunken cameraman who can't stop zooming in and out.

Not my fault you decided to be ballsy and proclaim it would "mog BDSP". Anything based on gen 5 as a base needs to completely overhaul the battle screen and spritework to actually look good, and until I see that, I'm assuming it's same as standard BWB2W2, i.e. pure shit.

I imagine there's essentials games that have something like that. But yeah I think we're still a while away from being able to map out Hoenn in either DS gen.
If only the 3DS didn't cut Gen 5 short we could've had official gen 5 Hoenn remakes.

I'm glad I finallhy found someone mention how horrible Gen 5 battles look after almost 15 years. I thought I was crazy but the original Black and White were literally my last Pokemon games until recently again, primarily for this reason alone. Even the text for the names looked blurier than previous generations on the Gameboy Advance of all things.

Pretty sure is a team making this thing (while adding a dozen unnecessary areas to fit more legendaries like Area Zero form SV)
