Slightly shrink the head and neck bulbs. That's about it, really. I kinda like it looking a little weirder and "off-putting" (and I think it's on purpose anyway since I remember the game joking about its big head or something).

Yep. Calyrex is a goofy amnesiac deer-king by both design and story. He's more Napolean than actually serious and regal, and properly gets serious when he's on his horse.

Calyrex is supposed to combine heraldic imagery with the fact that it’s a weird alien. I don’t like its design much, but the one in >>57423606 has much worse shape language, and misses the point of Calyrex basically being a body limply hanging from a giant floating brain, hence why it’s “puppet like” to an extent.

Remove/Reduce the fucking tumor and shorten it's legs in base form. Calyrex was designed with its combinations in mind but that makes it's design retarded without it.

Feels like most designs nowadays go through a hellish gauntlet of committee meetings until they're the safest most marketable and plush-friendly moeblob possible- the only exceptions are the furry designs
by the end you can barely tell what the original idea even was

The legs are all improvements in those cases, but that image chose many examples of people who just can't draw shit like line art properly to make them seem like bad designs. The concept of making them digitigrade is still good.
