I think I should give up Pokemon for good, and spread the message to others still stuck in this franchise.
I'm a 35yo incel and I picked up Pokemon as a means of escape. I wanted to immerse myself in some comfy lore and gameplay that would take me away from this world.
During Sun&Moon, Pokemon was amazing. The anime was flawless, the games were pure gold, and TCG was great too.
But now every generation seems to be worse.
The S&V Switch game is so broken it's not even funny anymore. Nobody in their right mind should buy or support the game. The anime is nowhere near Sun&Moon levels of comfiness. New Pokemon designs are ugly and crap apart from Meowscarada. TCG is dead and most of the physical merch market is obvious money grubbing.
I know you guys will give me the usual denialist cope answer like "fine, go, we dont need you" or whatever. But I'm right. Name one worthwhile thing in this franchise that isn't fappable lolis.
