>>57448696>It robs me of that feeling of pure wonder when the exquisitely rare just becomes uncommonFTFY, I guarantee you normal cunts, the 26m people who bought it but don't interact with the pokémon internet in any way shape or form as opposed to the say 380,000 people who do still find them as special as you don't. Your problem is you're ignoring 15 encounters occur just by walking around, leading to 15 times more rolls leading to more shinies being found. I've had the shiny charm since Dec '22 in Violet, I've found about 6 true random encounters just walking around, the rest were hunted and even with sandwiches, some took 7 or 8 resets to find the fuckers. RNG is RNG and encountering 15 at a clip by its very definition of being 15 times more encounters vs every other game in the series barring Legends (as its spawn points were always fixed, with the game pulling from an encounter table and trolling shiny chance upon entering the map for the entire map) means people are going to find shinies more often. And because the games are aimed at normal cunts and kids, that's why they want them to be "more common".
