>>57463851I think the Pokemon Champions game is basically their showdown, as they can get all pokemons and mechanics in a separate game all about combat that they can update so the people are less mad about the dex cut.
Basically I think is not a bad idea, indeed I'm surprised they didn't try that before. I just hope the fact is compatible with mobile doesn't bring it down.
Only time will tell if the "we cut pokemon so we can improve animations in the main games" is finally truth or still bullshit.
