>>57477568it very well might be, yeah, PLA was a glimmer of hope, it made it seem like game freak was finally realizing how to bring the franchise into the modern era and evolve the series, but Z-A makes it look as if PLA was nothing more than a fluke, and that GF accidentally made a good game, so any hope that they might have figured out a winning formula, at least with the legends subseries, even if the mainline games and remakes are doomed to be shit going forward, at least there was a set of games fans with standards could fall back on, but those hopes vanished with yesterday's presentation, now I'm dreading to see what gen X looks like next year, you'd think that for an anniversary game they'd make their best efforts to make something stellar, but for the 25th anniversary we had BDSP, and it doesn't really get any worse than that. Pokemon is officially in the same position as star wars now, an endless stream of sludge, the differnece is people keep buying it. I don't know how a franchise with such poor quality output can keep going forward, let alone for several years, it's unreal, like we've hit slop critical mass the likes of which the world has never seen, my expectations for the franchise going forward are zero, and as we have seen, them soon moving to more powerful hardware means absolutely nothing.
