The only Johto Pokémon not native to Kalos aside from starters/legends are Misdreavus and Stantler, both had new forms recently. There are more Johto Pokémon in Kalos than in Johto.

I’m aware, but with Arceus, the primary pokemon in dex were ones from the Sinnoh Pokedex, especially Diamond and Pearl’s.
I have hopes a lot of Johtomons will get shit in this game but I also fear that Friend Safari leads to a clear disadvantage at repping in the game

I just think it's more reasonable to believe that Johto mons would get a Mega Evolution or maybe even a crossgen before getting a regional. There's barely any Johto Pokémon to receive a regional since most are natives unless they bullshit an explanation why they changed between XY and ZA.
