When a goth starts as a kid, they treat it as a hobby and spooky stories of old urban legends where they go "and then realistic blood came up of the walls". They listen mainly to dark ambience stuff like room OSTs or spooky ASMR.
When a goth is a teen, they go more serious about it: edgy punk or emo scene bands, summoning rituals, books on demonology and evil spirits, curses and hexes, etc. This race sadly come to become extinct because TikTok just fried the brains of the youth, and now they are more likely to be mentally unwell rather than just being a fashion thing.
But when a goth is mature, it depends on her state. If she is still single, she becomes desperate for a baby, goes on crazy rants about incenses and old world medicines, and everything has to be "naturist" for better effects. If they don't get a kid, they become like those girls with thousands of fans and an OF. They are only there for looks and money, and nothing more. She isn't even really an emo anymore, she is just alternative.
But if they get a kid, they turn into a bohemian emo, trying to give the kid whatever charm and spell she comes across because nature > science. More focused on arts and crafts, and with a more fancy wardrobe. Even fancier than yours.
Also, the mature Goth woman doesn't listen to emo, they listen to sad pop music like, I don't know, just spitballing, something like maroon 5's "She will be loved", stuff like that.
