>>57493318Because that's the only real major throughline of the type. It's full of girly/cute/feminine Pokemon. There are only a small handful of actual mythological fairies within the type, namely just Grimmsnarl, Klefki, and the Tapus.
Imagine if Dragon type consisted exclusively of Dragonite, Altaria, Goodra, Flygon, Alolan-Exeggutor, Gouging Fire, Tatsugiri, Dracovish, Mega-Ampharos, and Guzzlord. One actual Dragon with no other draconic Pokemon in the mix. That's what Fairy type is now.
