In some of my stories I've struggled much the same. You want to pace things but at the same time you want the reader to not grow bored going from one scene to the next. I think this was short enough where you needn't worry about it, but I get it.
The LL Aggron girl is a great ref to follow on, I think Aggie being around there at the end would be downright brutal for Anon in an the right ways.

But additional faves include Zekrom, Rhydon, and Mismagius, among others. It's just so nice to see more fat Pokemon stories from others. Finding them anymore feels like a trial, so I like encouraging it where I see it.
