18-22 is what I'm guessing. I'm betting on everyone souls that Meganium, Emboar, and Feraligatr will have mega evolutions that completely change their types so there isn't a second Fire/Water/Grass trio of megas introduced in the same game (Kalos starters).

I'd say 15-20ish, this isn't a big mainline game to warrant a heap of new ones, hence ORSA getting less than 20.

Also I bet Ariados is getting one since it's in the game and wasn't in XY's dex - only friend safari.

I unironically think these may be correct because you put some real mother fuckers that not many know will be in the game like Carvanha, Dodrio, Politoad, Vanilluxe, Spinda, Ledian... Which are actually probably in the game since they were in a leak not many know of... So either you're real, you're a sneaky Italian, or you got really lucky. The only ones I don't know of are Froslass, Beheeyem, Spiritomb, and gen 7+, so I don't fully believe you, but you got dangerously close and the leaked list was not complete.

Pretty much the only one I'm actually hoping for from the return of Megas. Excited to see others given how much I like shit like Mawile and Beedrill, but that's my one never-ever right there.

PLA had 28 new designs grand total across new Pokemon and various forms, so I expect around the same number, give or take a few.

>5 new misc. forms
For Z-A, the bulk will likely be new Megas. I believe we'll get at least one new Mega Evolution for each type, so 9-18 total.
They also seem to be moving away from regional forms, so I can see a smaller number, like maybe 3-9 "Lumiosan" forms.
Then like 5-10 all-new Pokemon, including cross-gen evolutions, new Legendaries, etc. I want more of these than anything.
