NTA, but the Pokemon are awesome, Rowlet is one of my top 15, Necrozma is badass and Lurantis is a cutie.
Gameplay was mid, but that's normal
World building is great, though we explored more about the Ultra Beasts or maybe more lore on the Tapus.
The story with Lillie and Lusamine in itself was touching too, made me start to care for the humans.

other than that... yeah the women are hot...

If I wanted to play good Pokemon games, I'd play the older 2D games. I like Alola's worldbuilding and cast but I did not like the game attached to it. I thought it was underbaked and was hit with an uncomfortable rush of disappointment when Pokemon Bank connectivity did not update Sun with a National Dex. When I saw that there was no way to checklist all of the Pokemon anymore, I foresaw the franchise was doomed to continue this route. I was immediately proven right the moment these games came to Switch

I still like some of the new Pokemon and characters. There's some changes to the game I enjoy like how Snow works in Gen IX versus how Hail worked. But I don't really buy or play these games anymore because they straight up don't look fun. Even attempting to pirate Sword I realized the game was genuinely fucking horrible so I stopped playing and just went back to the older games and played fighting games instead like the retard I am

Even being cautiously optimistic for Z-A means fucking nothing to me because I'm expecting it to not meet my apparently impossibly high standards anymore so I'll just stick to PokeMas where I can collect the new girls and the older games where I can collect my favorite mons

I actually really like a lot of the stuff gen 7 introduced. I feel like it was the beginning of "nu-Pokémon", which I quite like. The music, characters designs, story and general aesthetic would set the standard for what Pokémon is today. The Pokémon designs are cool (Mimikyu, Palossand and Lurantis are my favourites), and the ultra warp ride is one of my favourite additions from USUM (although prefer the story in the original Sun and Moon). I should really get to replaying it sometime.

I don't even like most of the girls in gen 7.

From what I recall hearing, Gamefreak actually wanted to do the roster cut in SM.
I'm guessing the only reasons they didn't are because at the time they were spooked by Yokai Watch and knew it would be an awful stunt to pull on the 20th anniversary.

They're just normal high heels but the front part is shortened which shows more of her toe cleavage. Her in game model is just poorly modeled since it looks like her toes are chopped off and placed on top of the sole. The anime shows it better

playing through Ultra Moon right now, it's actually kicking my ass here and there
I'm running Decidueye, Eevee, Noibat, A-Sandslash and keeping them about even leveled
the AI actually uses supereffective moves instead of spamming Growl 5 turns in a row, and Totems are no joke so far
