This game is bad looking but in a like, smooth and flat sort of way, with some decent color grading, and while the details look bad, the overall image you see still feels like a viable image.
SV is just an endless expanse of grainy repeating grass and stone textures with all distant elements lost to draw distance, similar to PLA but with somehow an even worse framerate.
Basically, in my opinion, PLZA looks bad in the way running XY at 1080p in an emulator would look bad. and SV (and most of PLA) look bad in a way thats harder to pin down but is shared across a lot of modern games, where it just feels like the visuals are falling apart everywhere and barely anything is being rendered at a time and LODs are just constantly flipflopping in and out of existence at random times.
