Valid, and each mon should have 3 or 4 pallets to choose from, because some of the existing shinies are total misses (ie; Weavile, my beloved)

I at least would like something like the stadium games where nicknamed Pokémon had different shades of their base colors. It would go a long way to help individual Pokémon stand out.
