The way it handles memory is absolutely atrocious. It knows that it left for Vermilion through the trashed house before, but dismisses it because it only goes inside to talk to the NPC. What's the point of these memory banks for maps if it doesn't even know how to use them? It seems to only have short term memory for current objectives, which it fails at.
It's always the same. It wants to go the Pokecenter? It will spend several hours going into every building in the city dozens of times except the Pokecenter. It wants to leave Cerulean? It goes into all buildings but refuses to walk up 1 tile in the trashed house to see the upper exit. It mistakes itself for an NPC again and wastes a half hour trying to talk to itself. I know AI is considered in its baby stages, but there's no excuse for it being this terrible, except the developer who coded it fucked up royally. This needed much more time to cook before going live. The novelty is wearing off and it's now struggling to reach 1000 viewers, when a week ago it had around 1500 on average.
There's gotta be someone out there that can do better.
