>>57566833>No one cares if something is easy if it’s also inflexible or unsustainableThe fuck are you on about?
Training things up gets easier every single generation, it has never been easier.
Resources are so readily available with very little effort that it is laughable.
You can literally just get more by PLAYING THE GAME, that's the opposite of unsustainable.
The only thing you can't just adjust on the fly now are gender, shininess and bringing down IVs, how is that inflexible?
It reads like you don't actually know shit about current gen mechanics.
>People just don’t play in-game ladder as a resultIn-game ladder being locked behind a online subscription and the in-game system being complete garbage lacking options surely have nothing to do with that.
>Your problem is that you think Pokemon can achieve the convenience of showdown without being soulless like showdown. That’s because you have 0 imagination and that’s fine. Mainline games are GAMES with a competitive mode bolted on.
Showdown is a battle simulator.
They are two entirely different things catering to different audiences.
If you want to do your sweaty battles in-game, but don't want to deal with in-game shit, that's on you.
Champions might be TPCs try to kill Showdown, but I won't get my hopes up because they will certainly find a way to fuck it up.
