They were so brutal and cruel to fans of May and Advanceshipping because May was the one who replaced Misty, and people old enough to remember never forgot. So while there may be sniping between fans of May, Dawn, Iris, and Serena, they all can agree that Mistyfags had the biggest issues.

>I always assumed Drew had a onesided thing for MayNah, AG ends with May specifically splitting off from Ash and co. in order to follow Drew to Johto. And IIRC there's a bit of blushing involved. However, with May's character being put out of commission after DP, and with Drew only getting a silent cameo in DP watching May, that allowed people to forget.
