From there it will load the save file as well and the two instances will be considered to be linked, so if you go to the underground in both you’ll see yourself. There you can just talk to yourself, leave the underground and come back and talk to yourself again, the count will increment each time
MelonDS even disabled sound on the second instance so that you don’t have the two instances playing sound at the same time like on mGBA
