I have close to 300 in PLA and did everything and shiny hunted a lot.
HGSS/Plat I have 600 with all the Frontiers cleared and black trainer card. I don't see how a normal person gets to 1000 on those, but maybe if you really like replaying the frontiers or something. Same with Emerald.

I did get 1000 on SwSh, but that was only because I loved doing den adventures to shiny hunt legends with friends, and because I played a lot of VGC, without online I probably woulnd't even hit 100.

USUM and BW2 I don't see how anyone would get to 1000

The USUM one was awkward to do on your own cause of the reliance on scouting partners. I'll give credit to Dynamax Adventures for being a pretty creative take on the rental concept that incorporated the dyna mechanics. You pick a rental at the start, go upgrade your pick and grab items along the way. Then at the end you get a legendary boss fight that you can shiny hunt if you want for replay value. SV of course had nothing.

Well, yeah. It takes a considerable amount of time to beat the other facilities too, so they do contribute towards those 1000 hours, but Battle Factory is basically infinite.

You can finish it by sort of cheesing but you end up not really playing the way it was intended. Basically just refresh your 3 pokemon picks and try to get mega Mawile as your poke. Then you're basically using it as your one pokemon to take down 3 of theirs cause your other 2 partners are npc using under leveled pokemon. The Mawile had SD and sucker punch so you can kinda muscle your way through and the set ends if it dies.
