>>57573913it's nice that TM19 also has the ability to shrink itself
by the way, what about stuff like teleporters and the box system?
how are shrunk pokemon being stored in the PC and transported across great distances?
In GS I can catch a Pikachu in Kanto, box it, go back to Johto and take it out, that doesn't seem like shrinking, and with the exception of Porygon, Pokemon are not digital creatures, so what's happening according to shrinkers?
It's pretty obvious that the entire world of pokemon, no matter the timeline, runs on Infinity Energy(not 'raw' energy), as exposited ad nauseam in XY, ORAS, SM and USUM, and pokeball also revert pokemon into Infinity Energy, which is then attracted inside it.
The bottom part of the modern pokeball is probably some sort of metal composite with Everstone, in SwSh's Wild Area you can see the huge Everstone Menir sticking out of the ground, which periodically produce evolutionary stones by absorbing Eternatus' energy underground, and that's probably also what Tumblestone is in PLA- but that last part's just speculation.
On the other hand, after SV's Creation/Imagination debacle I am pretty convinced that Pokemon company will set up these ambivalent clues for 2 sides of how something works, and if one looks more convincing they will go out of their way to reestablish a stalemate.
It could be that both are correct, and one timeline uses Shrink-based pokeball (with all of their logistical impracticality) and another uses Energy-based pokeball.
Unlike the Ash anime, the Liko anime actually shows pokemon inside pokeball like you'd see in the old manga (Ash anime only ever did "Artist's rendition" type stuff to convey the concept), so I thought one was in the Mega timeline and the other wasn't, but the pink haired guy did get a shiny Mega Lucario so maybe that's not the case.
ALTHOUGH, that Lucario is in a pokeball that has a Ruby and a Sapphire embedded in it... (FRLG Ruby and Sapphire quest, Team Rainbow Rocket in USUM)
