>>57580220pokemon cards and retro games
have a space in the back for tournaments and to play with some retro games setup. weekly casual pokemon match night.
display some cool classic gems like ROB, virtual boy, neogeo, maybe an arcade machine for fun
one part of the store would be focused on showcasing singles and id try to stock rare sealed product as well (vintage packs for example)
there'd be a separate section for modern singles/product which i'd attempt to organize in a nice consistent way.
maybe throw in a section for other TCGs, baseball/mtg/one piece/yugioh but it certainly wouldnt be the focus
and on the other end would be rows of classic games, heavy focus on nintendo/sega stuff, big sections for the more sought after stuff like gamecube
i dont think id try to sell modern games, i dont think the market is big enough anymore and i'd rather the focus be on nostalgiabait and more kid friendly stuff. no funkos (unless i gotta pay bills), and some merch for the kiddos wouldnt hurt.
if i opened right now i'd stock up as much SV sealed as possible, fill it with illustration rares, and use the rest of the money to amass the bigger retro games (NES, SNES, N64, GC, maybe some GB/GBA/DS) and slowly expand as i go. i'd probably display shit from my personal collection too.
