If they course corrected in the wrong direction as a result of the fans complaining (your claim) shouldn't they still be complaining about the same issues? But they aren't?
The only problem is that you and others like you said Gen 5 was worse than it actually was, causing the quality of subsequent gens to fall off a cliff
And most realistically, if the "no veteran mons allowed until the postgame) thing happened again in games debuting gens (at least until those became the only versions with dlc tacked on later) I do think Gens 6+7 would have much improved and felt fresh.
Difference between us is that I correctly get that this argument is just an one of opinions + acting like it, while you think it's a moral crusade and pretending one of us is factually right.
