>>57601607>>57601596And to add on because I forgot about this: I totally get the logic for making the manga adaptations of the remake games original stories (instead of ignoring them entirely or making the manga do a "remade" arc too) and so I'm not at all criticizing that decision in itself, but I think something like the FRLG/HGSS arcs add to the feel of the "crossover"/hard timeline aspect that I'm not a huge fan of.
Like if you're not interested in a remake of a game you've played before, you can just skip it and ignore it entirely since you know it's not hugely changing the story/game timeline, but with the manga it means returning to the same group of characters once again and adding a new point to the timeline in between games, which is kind of what I mean by "strict timeline order." Maybe some people skip those manga arcs too though, not sure how popular they are next to the mainline games
