Biggest things are the enemies all having better AI, movesets, teams, etc., more sidequests, the intro cutscenes trimmed down significantly/other story events trimmed down or shifted, a bigger dex, and more minigames. They’re the most “difficult/challenging” Pokemon games, which isn’t saying a lot but yeah.
