>>57639245For a stat spread, if Ruby was a Pokemon too then it'd be easy since Sapphire would probably share the same BST with him, but they'd have opposite strengths/weaknesses, so their stat spreads would just write themselves. But if your game only has pokegirls in the Pokedex then I don't know if Sapphire would parallel anyone else.
Her strongest stat is probably Attack, second/third best stats would be either Sp Attack/Speed. Worst stat is Sp Defense because she needs a weak point. Also +SpD natures (Calm/Gentle/Sassy/Careful/Quirky) are associated with favoring bitter flavors and suiting "smart" contests, so she's too retarded to have these natures. Not that she can't act calm or gentle, this is just an attempt to boil down a character's entire personality into 1 word tied to game mechanics. Anyway if there's only going to be 1 unique Sapphire pokemon with a static Nature, there's a few options, if you want to
>be pragmatic and boost her Attack = Brave/Adamant/Hardy >emphasize her innocence/stupidity and worsen her SpD = Naive>go full lorefag and associate her with 1 contest category (comes down to your own interpretation I guess) = Modest (beauty), Naive/Jolly (cute), Bold (tough), Brave/Adamant/Hardy (cool)>give a shit about the sprite animation speeds in Emerald/DP = Brave/Adamant/Hardy/Naive (natures that move fastest)I don't know her exact BST number, as it might come from how you want Sapphire to stack up compared to everyone else in your romhack's Pokedex, whether she's like a starter Pokemon or just mid or like a pseudo legendary.
>>57639272Unironically accurate. The Emerald arc implied Sapphire (and Ruby) are weirdoes on the fringes of society, they're not outcasts but lack personalities that fit a leadership role: Sapphire's too naive, Ruby too selfish. They seem to have way better battle skills than Gold the meme man, yet Gold's the one everybody listens to, not the freak duo dicking around in the background
