>>57620316>MegasEasily the best gimmick and only contrarians and faggots with shit taste would think otherwise, the only problem with it is the distribution and the fact some Megas were made to be busted abominations while others are just mediocre. I will always love the mechanic for bringing new light into quite a few of my favorite Pokemon like Aggron, Charizard and Sceptile.
>TeraStupid and deceptively unbalanced, it's fun to play around with type changing, but then you realize some already incredibly broken Pokemon just get to win for free because this mechanic exists, plus, you don't lose STAB on your original types and then just get a huge damage boost on whatever you Tera'd into. It's too unpredictable, even if you knew exactly what your opponent's Pokemon is gonna turn into, it's still a miserable coin toss and despite Pokemon being a game that can largely swing around luck, getting fucked by a shitty 50/50 is never fun.
>Z movesSame issue as Tera except way worse, your opponent has a nuke, that's it, and you don't know when it's gonna go off, it's not fun, the mechanic grows dull really fast and instead of them doing interesting things, they just boost damage to absurd levels or give a Pokemon a massive stat boost, Z-Celebrate Victini with Stored Power was one of the cheapest and most retarded things I've ever had to deal with.
>DynamaxJust shit, retards whine about overcentralizing mechanics and some contrarian faggots argue that it's better than Mega because every Pokemon gets access to the mechanic, but Dynamax is just garbage, it's a win for free button and the whole match becomes reliant on who Dynamaxes at the right time, you get Z move tier nukes, your Pokemon's HP doubles, BECAUSE THAT'S REALLY FAIR and EVERY. SINGLE. ATTACK. has a bonkers secondary effect, from spawning weather, to lowering or boosting stats, which snowballs things even further. No one, and I really mean no one likes this mechanic, only contrarians pretend it was good.
