So I started watching the pokemon sun and moon anime to catch up....

The most strange thing is what happened to the technology.

Remember in the 90s when pokemon was some weird SF near future as imagined in the 90s? With public video phones (or are these PCs?) in poke centers who everyone can access?

Now ash contacts people via his TV like it has the skype app in it or something.
I mean.... seriously? This looks so weird and mundane. Where are these gigantic shaped plastic things embedded in the walls of every poke center like a public payphone got an SF upgrade?

I guess it is to move with the times (I hate zoomers and cellphones).

Remember when in the anime they did literally have teleportation tech? Like the entire world simply used teleportation from one pokemon center to the other and moved pokemon around this way?

Now apparently this was made non canon and ash needs to bring a pokemon egg or something to professor cringe professors Oaks other brother or something.

Did anyone get bothered by this crap?
