Yeah probably. It looked better for sure, I'm a little concerned at the 'sneak attack' you can do to initiate trainer battles. I doubt they'll be hard enough to justify that, a good mechanic for wild battles though.

It actually kind of gives off the vibe of like, night street racing but with pokemon battles instead, all neon lights and sudden competition. I get the vibe that if this wasn't an official tournament, this is just how Lumiose would be normally, and the cops get run ragged trying to keep up with illegal night battles.

Yes it it looks a lot better visually. The main issue I have with it is that the flat buildings makes the game look quite ugly. And that's bad for a game where you're literally surrounded by cities 24/7.

The game also has a distinct lack of doors which is concerning me that they're getting rid of interiors similar to SV. The cafe had a waitress standing outside which is very suspicious.

Other than that, the gameplay looks really fun though.

I'm sick of new Pokemon. Megas, fine, but the Pokedex is too fucking big. I don't even remember half of it anymore because most of them are just forgettable.

Still not sure if I'm a fan of that battle system, though I'm trying to not judge it too hard until the game's in my hands. I pray that the non-Legends mainline games stay turn-based like the boring idiot I am.
Sorry, I just have shit taste and much prefer turn-based games as a whole. ;_;
