But desu I meant more, it’s something I’d like to see irl. Unlikely, yes, but it’s a dream. Ever since I stopped believing in organized religion, I have lost the community that churches provide, and the beauty of cathedrals (a testament to where a church’s financial priorities truly lie). I guess a Pokémon church’s would offer me a community I could vibe with - diehard poke fans and ironic memesters who used to worship the FSM.
Still, you make a decent point. Maybe I will draw it, someday.
>>57697549I see what you’re saying. For me, the point of drawing isn’t about the result, otherwise I would just use ai. It’s about the personal journey taken to get there, as well as what the experience ultimately means to me, the artist, personally.
I drew Kikuri and Honchkrow for practice, and I thought their colors went well together. I drew Nessa cuz I felt bad for the guy getting picked on by a non-artist over things that artists actually appreciate (specificity, but with room for creativity). I drew the kirlia spats because I wanted to see them on her (and also the navel). And then I shared these pics because why not, it’s fun to be seen, and maybe someone in this thread will get a little smirkle when they see it. I enjoy honest attempts, regardless of how good they are. I also enjoy ironic attempts, especially if they look bad.
I got pretty good at ai-generation, but dissatisfaction with the hobby led to me deciding to learn how to draw.
