>>57639198>I'm sure if I asked you to elaborate I'd actually understand why you think BW > XY > B2W2.since you are here i might as well elaborate.
BW is a tightly made RPG and i would argue it's the best of the 2D games. it does not have content bloat that makes me feel as if i am missing out, it's well balanced in terms of enemy levels, exp distribution (yes, including the lucky egg, which is actually fun to juggle around a team or use on just one mon) and mobs outside of gyms. it also has my favorite out of all the pokemon stories. i would put it above a lot of B-tier RPGs like most Tales games i played.
B2W2 frankly feels like a bad fanfiction stapled onto BW. its new content ranges from fine to bad and it sustains itself on flavour like the poison gym, which is not bad, ftr, but it's a compromise. Hugh is such an annoying little shitter too, especially compared to Cheren and Bianca who weren't shakespearean characters but they were fine for what pokemon is.
the story has poor pacing, not unlike XY, but unlike XY it feels like a slog you have to go through to access to the postgame, which yes, it's fun and imo it made Battle Facilities something even the less autistic pokemon fans can enjoy, but it mostly amounts to fanservice which would be sold as a less expensive DLC in this day and age. oh, it's fanservice i love because N is adorable and i want more of him always, but it's ultimately fluff compared to a proper continuation to his story. overall, if i want to replay an Unova game, i simply replay BW.
now you will ask "why do you like XY tho?"
