I can't see any relation except for Falinks and the avengers and maybe Eelektross and the hydra

Just for fun:

The horse is Scolipede, which now has a similar coloration, possibly with part of its back resembling a saddle.

The cat is a Victrebell reference, with its mouth bound by vines.

The frog is Greninja with strong emphasis on his star

The spiner could be the Floette Flower or Satrmie

The plague doctor is Hawklucha because his mask is now black.

Finally, I just think it's a coincidence, but the girl in pink looks a bit like Lacey. I don't know if this is a reference to Excadrill, or maybe it's the cowboy girl.

The 27 megas thing is from Pyoro who had his source fired and had a meltdown. He also only ever had sources on trailers and directs coming out and most of that was Nintendo and not Gamefreak. No new megas were shown off so I'm chopping this up as fake

My theory is that Khu's source was on the Chinese localization team, but he got shuffled to working on a different game once SV's base game was done. Which explains why Khu's accuracy went down the shitter after that. The few details he gets right are probably just things his source hears around the office.

It would be strange for a Pokémon to be born and die with each transformation.

Unless it uses anime logic like Washiwashi and Eevee, where it calls allies nearby to the battle and then returns to its original location after the transformation/attack ends.
