Post Pokemon who deserve cross-gen evos. Not regionals, not megas. Just straightforward evolutions (or split evolutions).

Ariados is the OG spider pokemon but we now have several spider family lines from different generations who outshine it. All of them are stage 2s. It would be very appropriate if the thing that set Ariados apart was that it could reach stage 3 while the others can't, so it could keep its crown as the king of spiders. Plus seriously it's really NOT hard to imagine an evo of Ariados that's just simply bigger and stronger. Give me an elephant-sized king of spiders. Ariados deserves it after having been outshined by the other spiders for so long.
