>>57670516Wasn't Obsolete Meat's theme precisely about the dilemma of "doing whatever you want" vs "trying to reproduce that gourmet meal over and over"? I'm not going to insist on my point, but couldn't one argue that Obsolete Meat and Facade Question are they going out of their way to be different from Mesmerizer (despite using Miku and Teto and having full animations)?
Then again, I didn't like Obsolete Meat, so I only heard it once, so I may very well just be saying bs right now.
As a side note, I did like Facade Question however.
>>57670519I don't know if it would be detrimental (creatively speaking), but one thought I have is that they could have contacted the producers, told each to get one of the "Type-Miku" designs and use them as inspiration for the song. Then, get the finished song, along with the equivalent "Type-Miku" and commission the respective MVs (of course, taking into consideration suggestions and whatnot of the music producers). That way, each song would feature the "Type-Miku" designs, and would have full MVs, instead of each producer having to pay for their MVs and in consequence having the great discrepancy in production value, with some being just an static image, meanwhile Eve.
