>>57659502What do you mean? I know I said a lot of stuff here so just not certain which part you're asking about.
If you mean stuff about the Pokedex being OP in this manga, in later arcs there's a weird thing where it seems the characters don't even need to /catch/ a Pokemon to have a complete set of data about them, like you can just see a wild Pokemon and instantaneously get a complete description of their behavior (which makes the characters seem a lot less smart for just connecting the description that was handed to them by the dex to the behavior they're observing). As of this part of RGB though it's still pretty game-faithful in that you have to first actually catch the mon to get the complete data.
There's some similar stuff with like, being able to see an opponent's moves and also apparently the Pokedex can prevent mons from evolving (instead of the mons themselves) while everybody who doesn't have one, so like the 99.9999999%, is just kinda screwed I guess, they're just forever destined to be normies/NPCs even though I don't get the logic for not making more dexes, you'd think those would sell pretty well
There's also just the whole status of the Pokedex being treated like some special unique artifact that's restricted to 3 of each region and only ~one person~ is allowed to own each one, but I think that's kind of a separate issue that the arc I'm on still isn't at yet.
Really there aren't any drastic examples yet in early RGB of the dex doing stuff way beyond its abilities in the games; the hit point thing is actually the first instance of this so far and I wanted to point it out, but it still wasn't used for any real purpose
