A bath isn't going to kill it. You can bathe Growlithe in SV and they come out fine. CLEAN IT.

Plain water is different than type-energy attuned water, anon. They can have some nasty effects if they're overexposed to it, but a bath won't hurt most fire types, and the ones that it would hurt have a tendency to sterilize themselves with heat anyway.
