The past third versions always did some fucked shit where some pokemon were missing (usually picking and choosing between the prior two game’s version exclusives) to “justify” the prior games existence. Like zangoose only showing up in ruby and not emerald. Other times they’d just cut prior version exclusive pokemon like stunky, glameow, misdreavous, and murkrow to not give Platinum all of dps value.
With this, I just grabbed the opposite version and felt mostly satisfied. Only missed out on some exclusive returning pokemon since the version new exclusive ubs had multiples to trade.
