>>57673780So fascinating to see that line I wrote broken down like that.
>GF constantly drops one messed up lore hint after another that makes these theories plausibleThis series does have problems with inconsistencies.
>Pokephilia for example.I want to know what specifically you mean by this. They've never shown it as a good thing, that's for sure.
>Tell me, can pokemon break out of the PC storage system?I'm guessing, most likely, yes. We know Pokémon experience the Box as some sort of place where they can interact and do things with the other Pokémon there. Even if we still don't know all about it.
>How come there are so many pokeball variants specifically designed to catch them more effectively? When we "capture" a Pokémon in a ball, it's the Pokémon agreeing stay and join. The different kinds of balls have different effects, because different Pokémon prefer different balls and depending on the situation. All Pokémon can exit their ball whenever they want.
>What's a Master Ball? The Master Ball is interesting, it could be it's the sole exception and truly always catches a Pokémon, but as shown with Kieran's Terapagos, even with the Master Ball actually keeping the Pokémon is a separate matter.
>I was thinking of them being taught from a young age how great it is being caught by a trainer and having pokemon battles. Which could be a way too glorified version of what's actually true. There's wild Pokémon that prefer to not have a Trainer. But the Wild Pokémon we usually see are the ones looking for humans to be their Trainer. A Wild Battle is a formality, it's the Pokémon and human deciding if they are right for each other. Most Pokémon desire to fight and get stronger, having a human gives them many benefits in that regard and many other benefits too. Even then there's still Pokémon who aren't into fighting and that's fine too.
I'd still like an answer to my initial question from my previous post in this thread.
