you go through world 2 dodging bullet bills, then a bowser rival fight, a weird gym puzzle involving getting a bullet bill into a soccer goal, then a sandstorm gym battle with daisy. both bowser and daisy used only 3 pokemon so it wasn't a problem.

Every other textbox had a filler box with just an ellipsis in it. I seem to have been mostly right in the general gist of my prediction, but the implementation is a bit gayer than I thought it'd be. I don't hate it, but I still can't help but feel a bit disappointed about what could've been here.

However, both the champion and the head of the Aether foundation had become too arrogant in their abilities to the point where they had forgotten that sometimes, the most dangerous predators are those who look like easy prey, and their hubris had cost them dearly. The two blonde bombshells had been both beautiful and imposing, having gained quite a reputation between the two of them, and yet all those years of building themselves up had led to a rather humiliating and undignified end at the hands of a nobody. Not only were they soundly defeated in a Pokemon battle, they were also defeated quite handily in a pred vs pred fight as well, despite having the advantage of 2 vs 1. The unassuming lass had bested them, and for her reward, she took more than just their Pokemon--she devoured both of the seasoned veterans whole, as if they were just another couple of worthless prey and not the renowned mega stars that they once were. Now they have both been reduced to little more than bodyfat, clinging to their devourer's tits, hips, thighs and ass for all the world to see. No one will ever know what became of them, as the lass wouldn't report what had happened, and none of her friends would even believe her when she'd tell them that it had been her who had digested the great Cynthia and Lusamine. Any real evidence of the deed would later be flushed down the toilet in a pitstop on the road to several varying towns. The moral of the story: don't talk shit unless you are prepared to be turned into someone's shit.

Cyrus’ spiked ice-blue hair almost resembled a frozen mountain range in the eyes of the shrunken champion. His pale white skin made him look like a vampire, with a deathly cold gaze to boot.
Cynthia started to squirm. “Let me go!” She shrieked. “Put me down, you beast! What have you done to me?!”
“I’m afraid I won’t be letting you go anytime soon,” Cyrus said. “You fell victim to my organization’s latest piece of technology, a device that can shrink anything in its vicinity…including humans. However, we haven’t yet figured out how to reverse the effect.”
“Y-you mean…I’m stuck like this?!” Cynthia gasped. “That can’t be true! Why would you do such a thing, you coward!? Why wouldn’t you fight me fair and square in a Pokemon battle instead?! I…I don’t want to be your little pet!”

Pinching Cynthia’s waist between his fingers, Cyrus lifted the shrunken champion to his eye level, dangling before his stoic face. He gazed at her, as if contemplating her fate. He didn’t seem to think for long, though.
When his thin lips parted, and a gust of humid, misty breath showered Cynthia’s tiny, nude body, her fate became glaringly obvious. All the breath fled Cynthia’s lungs in a single hard gasp.

The game pointing out these inconsistencies does not justify how absolutely contrived this is and if this is apparently a recurring character trait, it should've actively discredited him in Janine (and everyone else's) eyes long before the story begins properly.
In the miniscule chance that the developer of this game is lurking, I beg of you rework these Lance scenes. They're awful and make no sense when you think about them for more than a second. Him spitroasting Blue afterwords doesn't mask it either.

after a bit of a detour you reach fortune street, waluigi's town. the gimmick of the town is purple coins are the only currency accepted, and that's all you get from fights. the gym puzzle is a conveyor belt maze with switches, but to activate a switch you pay 100 purple coins. you could gamble to get some, or do a side quest in town for 3,000 p coins. he's a poison type gym leader with 5 mons, and he actually tries to do some baton pass scams, but still not too difficult.

I can catch more pokemon for captain toad, but they don't even give him master balls, they might be great ball tier but the wild mons are in the 30's. the whole time I'm also relying on his multi hit move doing enough damage but also not killing the mon. in this particular section, if I want to fully heal captain toad's team, I have to waste a revive, which are pretty expensive. the only cool thing about this entire gimmick is that they actually made it so you just hit R to switch between them whenever, but otherwise it's a chore to get through

in toad town you can do some optional fights with toadette where your levels are set at a certain number, a 3v3, a 4v4 double battle, and then a 6v6. the last one was harder then the gym leaders, but not by much. I can see the eventual challenge mode being rough though. for beating 2/3 battles you get access to some tutor moves, and 3/3 gets you access to some overpriced shit
