>>57693927Mandatory for me to even consider buying it:
1. Either do the full natdex, or cut it MORE and make the game way the fuck better. I prefer the former though since it's the fuckin' Switch 2 and it should have the space for all Pokemon, like, fuck.
2. Actual dungeons/caves. If kids find them too hard, then slap a nurse halfway through the big ones. Also there better be some puzzles, even if they have to be simple for the kids.
3. EXP Share splits experience across the party instead of giving all to everyone (maybe everyone gets 50%?) Also you can turn it off.
Nice to haves:
1. Bring friendship, petting, etc. all back to the way it was in the USUM generation (though it could use balancing for fights). Pokemon should always feel more "personal" if they want to keep making these things for kids. None of this "waggle a toy so they do their Physical Attack animation at you and that's it" shit.
2. Mega evos become a permanent staple of the series, but rebalanced entirely as a way to make shitmons viable.
3. Make the "complete version" after DLCs be an all in one package instead of just being a copy of the original game and a code for the DLC.
4. If they're still doing the "2 versions plus two pairs of DLC" thing, don't fucking make the games $80.
5. Lock all the fast travel shit behind the second half of the game. Give players a reason to walk around more, first. Let them explore and figure out their own shit for a while.
6. An actual evil team / dick-ass rival.
7. Finally finish making the rest of the Eeveelutions.
8. Proper scaling when possible.
Personal IMO shit:
1. Add a fifth attack slot for every Pokemon that's locked in place and you can't change it. The slot is reserved for that Pokemon's signature move. Maybe you get a small selection of "signature moves", but they ONLY fit into that slot and you can only pick one.
2. Cosmetic hats and accessories for Pokemon.
3. Split held items into two slots: worn, and held. Might need rebalancing afterward.
