Anybody else noticed that the quality of the franchise went downhill to extreme lows when they made this POS a secondary mascot?

What, you mean in Yellow where it's Gary's starter? I dunno, the series didn't get really bad until DiaPer, and then after that it slowl got better. Though I guess that's around when they were giving May an Eeevee in the cartoon.
