>>57727402Anti-fun, is that some zoomie spastic code for "stop picking on me"? Because the joy and fun I found in Gen 1, I still find in Gen 9.
But I'm not an autistic pile of nuclear waste which is why I CAN still play and enjoy them. I didn't delude myself into thinking it or I were something more than they appeared, like you clearly still think it's SUPPOSED to care you're a thing in the world (newsflash - retard zoomies are fucking EVERYWHERE online, you're not special in the slightest).
>>57727408Except "X sold well" because they discarded that which had dragged them back over Gen 6 and 7 to the point casuals were happy to buy in and more importantly, be retained for Gen 9, which again was better than Gen 8 because they didn't have to spend at least 128 weeks trying to fit everything they created into one game (and that's once again a VERY conservative guess, odds are they all didn't behave as nicely as to just take 5 hours devhours to ensure they worked correctly) while only having 104 weeks production. We got the same market as in dexfilled era and (once again), they ignored adult concerns to continue the series' streak of targeting children with each and every new release they make.
>>57727495Financially maybe. Mentally, it's one and the same, especially with the internet these days. And while I don't doubt there are some innocent PMD fans out there, the overwhelming vast majority of them are the type of people who'd go to fur conventions with art of their OC and insist on being addressed by their furname. Sales are memed here, but sales show engagement with something. Which is why the sales dying as soon as Game Freak got DP out show the casuals were hurting for proper Pokémon and once they got that, they left fursuit sim well alone and self-inserted into the humans, as per usual. Again, the people who want to fuck pokémon are pre-ordering the life-size Eevee+Lutions, the furfag fursuiters are buying costumes to wear, that's the difference.
