You can just emulate this or Fire Red if you want to; it's not the type of game where the experience is really different if you're doing it on original hardware vs. emulating. It's possible to link and trade using emulators too.

There’s a rom called blue 151. It lets you get everything in one game without any other changes. Of course this is assuming you want to 100% the game. Either red or blue rom works fine.

Just emulate it. It's not like it's a particularly intestine game, so it's not like your gameplay experience will be impacted by a shitty emulator.

Personally, I like to use RetroArch with mGBA core or just raw mGBA
