i cant get over my emulation hatred. physical purity ceases to invoke my wiener. but. its like the physical stuff gba, 3ds, ds, etc, they are discontinued garbage. if the creator abandoned them why should i/we have such an affinity for them?

have you tried to play on gameboys? its embarrassing. 3ds is tolerable but your mons are STUCK inside there forever without going to the dark side of brewing up your device. then you have to deal with the psychological aspect of jumping through all of these ?unintended? hoops just to get your mons to the ?intended? place. this is far less of a psychological trauma that begets one when they transfer and trade ROM mons as thats another can of worms. nothing is sacred anymore. clones of clones of rommed mons just being added to your dex and it feels so wrong.

i think, at the end of the day i have come to the conclusion that it is not ok to enjoy or to collect any games or any mons from the generations that the creator (nintendo) does not offer support for. that means any game that was released before the switch should just die and let it die. that market is for hackers and scalpers and i am going to come to terms with the fact that I Wasnt There. realistically i was but i did not keep record as i was just a kid. my emerald authentic copy and all mons inside are gone, my poke colloseum mons, my black and white mons all gone. EVEN if i had them all still phsyically they are just trapped inside the systems forever unless you do non-authorized ways to get them out ie cloning them.
